They are seeking a Remote Math Competition Coach to teach AIME & JMO level math content, develop personalized training plans, and guide students in preparing for math competitions.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Teach AMC10 & AIME competition problems virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform
Develop personalized training plans tailored to students’ levels and goals
Create high-quality problem sets, handouts, and learning materials aligned with various competition systems
Stay up to date with the latest trends, formats, and problem styles of annual math contests
Guide and mentor students in preparing for local and international math competitions, including BMT, HMMT etc
Qualification
Required
Academic background in Mathematics, or a related STEM field (Master's degree or higher)
Personal experience in math competitions, with at least qualification to USA Junior Mathematical Olympiad or equivalent level
Strong mathematical foundation and deep understanding of competition-style problem solving
Ability to explain advanced concepts clearly and inspire students at different levels
Passionate about competitive mathematics and committed to helping students excel
Preferred
Prior teaching or coaching experience is a plus
Participation in team-based math competitions is a strong plus
