Responsibilities
Lead teams focused on consumer application development
Build scalable backend services, or manage cross-platform mobile development in React Native
Work with at least two technologies from our stack:
+ Backend: Java, Go, MySQL, Redis
+ Frontend: React Native (JavaScript / TypeScript), Java, Objective-C, React
+ Unity: C#
Provide hands-on technical leadership (30-40% hands-on)
Hire, retain, and develop engineers
Build relationships and influence stakeholders across disciplines:
+ Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
+ Manage risks and develop mitigation plans
+ Work with Product Leadership to develop and track schedules, dependencies, and critical paths
Qualification
Required
6 - 8 or more years of software development experience with prior experience as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience
Proven experience leading high-performing teams
Experience working with Unity or other game engines
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Platform as a Service (PaaS) experience
