Responsibilities

Collaborate with stakeholders and cross functional teams to define the vision and strategy for the transportation management system within the SAP S/4HANA ecosystem

Provide leadership and guidance in implementing a Next Generation ERP that meets the business and mission requirements without customizing the ERP core

Identify opportunities for process optimization leveraging SAP S/4HANA and Next Generation ERP capabilities

Support the translation of functional business requirements into technical specifications for cross functional teams

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence

Collaborate with executive leadership on Next Generation ERP strategy and technology roadmaps

Required

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

15+ years of extensive, progressive experience in various SAP modules including SD, MM, QM, PM, FI

Expert-level knowledge of automation and low code technologies

Proven track record in optimizing and managing large-scale, complex ERP environments

Experience with virtualization technologies, cloud platforms, and emerging IT trends

Superior skills in scripting, automation, and system integration

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization

Preferred

Relevant executive-level IT certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, VMware VCDX)

Experience with cutting-edge technologies (e.g., containerization, serverless computing)

Expertise in federal IT regulations, compliance, and security frameworks

Track record of successful large-scale system transformations or modernization efforts

Contributions to the field through publications or speaking engagements
