Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist - Per Diem - Flex - MHP
Memorial Healthcare System is a leading healthcare provider in Florida, dedicated to patient safety and quality care. They are seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to provide imaging services in accordance with established standards and practices, ensuring quality and patient safety throughout the procedures.

Responsibilities
Prepares equipment and supplies
Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters
Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment
Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary
Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department
Reviews patient history and physician's orders
Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate
Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s)
Analyzes images and identifies issues with the quality of images
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure if clinically appropriate
Charges appropriately for all supplies used for procedure and utilizes appropriate exam codes
Qualification
Required
Accredited Program: Radiology (Required)
ARRT_American Registry of Radiology Tech (ARRT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
Registered as a Technologist (RT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as required by state law
Registered in computed tomography (CT) by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 1 year of hire date
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
Preferred
One year of radiology technologist experience is preferred
