Responsibilities

Maintaining and repairing packaging equipment, including conveyors, sealers, wrappers, and labeling machines

Troubleshooting mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow

Performing preventive maintenance according to schedules to avoid unexpected breakdowns

Adjusting machinery settings to accommodate different packaging formats or product specifications

Collaborating with production teams to meet packaging goals and ensure product quality

Documenting maintenance activities and equipment performance

Required

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

3+ years related experience and/or training

Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure

Ability to work in refrigerated and frozen environments

Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment
