Environmental Engineer 03926 LBYD Federal

The Environmental Engineer will ensure project compliance with environmental regulations, conduct site assessments, and coordinate with various stakeholders to achieve environmental compliance.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with team members to execute project scope, schedules, and budgets in conformance with the project and customer requirements
Research codes, guidance, policies, procedures, processes, criteria, and federal laws and regulations in order to provide sound technical recommendations in writing
Apply innovative technical principles, practices, and theories to the resolution of technical issues
Perform field investigations, including the review of site conditions, to determine existing conditions, document findings, and provide a report to include written summary of observations, data collected, and photographs
Coordinate with client, team members, leadership, project stakeholders, and various regulatory agencies
Review technical reports, RFIs, designs, design changes for both design-build and design-bid-build projects, project deliverables, submittals, cost proposals from contractors, etc., to ensure compliance with customer and RFP requirements
Provide technical support for the review of the design and construction submittals and field inspections
Provide technical support for construction field activities
Prepare various permit applications and assist with report writing
Documenting all project communications
Participate in site field investigations and client / user interviews to identify project needs, constraints and opportunities
Use computer programs and spread sheets for engineering analysis and presentations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited Engineering college curriculum
Minimum 10 years design experience
Demonstrated experience in preparing correspondence, written reports and in briefing management personnel
Have demonstrated knowledge of broad-based Engineering and Environmental principles
Sound understanding of environmental technical concepts, principles, and practices applicable to design and construction
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, orally and verbally
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret contract documents
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
Must be a US citizen, possess a passport, and have the ability to travel up to 25%
PE – U.S. Professional Engineering Registration
Holds an active Q-clearance
