Responsibilities
Perform experiments to improve quality or processes related to production of cell-free DNA
Establish new site operations including preparation of laboratory, installation of equipment, development of SOPs, etc
Contribute to the design of experiment and compile data from a limited range of disciplines or technologies to be included in technical reports following all appropriate good documentation practices
Solve problems in straightforward situations; analyze possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents
Qualification
Required
PhD in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 0+ years of experience, MS with 1+ years of experience, or BS with 3+ years of experience
0+ years of experience (additional experience with educational achievement outlined above) in an industry R&D setting
Experience and working knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as qPCR, electrophoresis techniques, ELISA, etc
Experience related to production, amplification, or modification of nucleic acids; purification of nucleic acids; and analytics related to nucleic acids
Must be able to develop solutions for simple and complex problems, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation
Preferred
Experience in mammalian cell culture techniques including expression-based assays, flow cytometry, and cell viability assays
Experience in NGS or long-read sequencing technologies
