Responsibilities

Produce and maintain detailed plans and schedules for our cryogenic hardware and signals R&D activities (including chip cool down planning)
You will identify and forecast resource constraints, opportunities and conflicts, which will be used to drive operational decisions
You will work across team boundaries to ensure stakeholders are aware of risks/opportunities and timelines
You will identify operational gaps and generate recommendations and mechanisms to improve operational efficiency
You will work with stakeholders to define mechanisms that optimize the interface points to cryogenic hardware & signals teams
You will support leadership by providing programmatic support as required towards the development of any new fab facilities, onboarding or new equipment, and sourcing materials to run our operation
Support/lead the development of requirement documents and statements of work for external contracts (COTS and R&D). You will also support or manage these external contracts
Identify opportunities and advocate for areas where inhouse developed software or AI applications can streamline our internal hardware workflows. Support the internal roll-out and adoption of these tools

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
7+ years of technical product or program management experience
7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
5+ years working in a hardware based R&D environment
5+ years of technical contract management for R&D activities with external vendors/suppliers
Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred

Master's or PhD in relevant field (physics, engineering physics, electrical engineering, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to implement both agile and traditional ‘waterfall' project management practices
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience working in an academic environment
Knowledge of superconducting microwave devices or superconducting qubits
Familiarity with the layers of the quantum computing stack and the quantum devices lifecycle would be an advantage
