Responsibilities
Underwrite contract surety bonds within your authority or make recommendations to leadership to ensure our profitability and performance remain top-tier
Travel regularly throughout your assigned territory to meet with agency partners, attend industry events, and build strong, lasting relationships that drive success
Work closely with agents and internal teams to provide excellent underwriting services
Stay ahead of regional economic shifts, legal changes, and competitor activity
Mentor Associate Underwriters and Underwriting Assistants to help grow their expertise and enhance team performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
At least three years of relevant experience in surety underwriting or a related field
Strong analytical skills
