Responsibilities

You will transmit claims to billing vendors, process/ correct insurance rejects, process re-bills, and work unbilled alert and comp census reports

You will research, request, and update required information, insurance requirement edits, and follow-up on pending claims

You will attach i-bills or implants invoices to paper billing when needed

Follow-up on claim denials, handling refunds and patient statements

One year of billing experience in the healthcare field is preferred

Must be familiar with third party billing requirements and payment policies
