Department of Anesthesia - Pain Psychologist
The University of California, San Francisco is seeking a pain psychologist to join their faculty practice in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Care. The role involves providing patient care, conducting intake evaluations, and developing innovative clinical care models for patients with chronic pain.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to intake evaluations, assessments on appropriateness for neuromodulation, individual psychotherapy, and group psychotherapy for patients with pain
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree (or equivalent) in Psychology or related field
Completion of postdoctoral training in health psychology, with a preference for an APA-accredited clinical fellowship in pain psychology
Licensed to practice in California
Applicants' materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission
Preferred
Passion about caring for patients with complex chronic pain
Experience working in multi-disciplinary environment
Interest in working in an educational environment, with physician and non-physician trainees as part of the care team
Record of scholarship, such as demonstrated by published research, and interest in advancing the academic field of pain psychology
Interest in developing innovative new clinical care models
Psychologists experienced in the treatment of adolescents and young adults with chronic pain are also encouraged to apply
