Growth Lead, Specialty Markets

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the commercial sales strategy for your assigned business area, in alignment with overall company goals
Own and report on volume snapshots, pipeline health, and key performance metrics
Partner with marketing to design and launch targeted campaigns, educational programs, and research initiatives
Be a key stakeholder and driver to ensuring a best-in-class experience from initial engagement through ongoing support
Lead collaborations, continuing medical education (CME) initiatives, and partnership programs to drive growth and engagement
Work directly with the sales team to translate strategic insights into practical plans, training, and execution
Continuously assess program and campaign performance, identifying what is and isn’t working, and pivot strategies as needed
Serve as the subject matter expert and advocate for your business area, both internally and externally
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation across teams
Maintain a forward-thinking, competitive mindset—always seeking ways to keep GeneDx at the forefront of the industry

Required

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, etc.) preferred
7+ years of experience in commercial strategy, sales leadership, or general management, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics, pharma or life sciences
Experience with sales within specialty markets considered an asset
Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Passion for improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of genomic medicine
