Responsibilities
Develop and implement organic content strategies to drive audience growth, engagement, and conversions
Collaborate with the founder and editor to scale and systematize a high-volume content engine
Manage and optimize publishing schedules, content calendars, and account performance across platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Actively manage community dynamics: answer questions, foster discussion, and build authentic relationships with our audience
Identify and address audience feedback to continuously improve engagement
Create, curate, and manage high-quality content aligned with brand voice and objectives
Leverage trends, memes, and platform nuances to stay culturally relevant
Monitor KPIs to track success and optimize strategies for organic reach and conversions
Report actionable insights to the leadership team regularly
Analyze competitors and relevant industry players to identify opportunities and emerging tactics
Stay ahead of algorithm changes and platform updates to maintain competitive edge
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading and growing social media accounts for brands or personal brands, preferably founder-led
Strong understanding of organic growth strategies, community building, and social media trends
A creative, strategic mind with a deep understanding of how content converts to traffic and revenue
Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, fast-paced startup culture. Be entrepreneurial spirited with the ability to recommend best social media practices and tools
Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
Familiarity with analytics tools and community management platforms
Preferred
Austin-based preferred; hybrid considered
Bonus: Experience in video content strategy and basic editing skills
