RF Characterization Engineer
PseudolithIC is a company focused on high throughput prototyping and product manufacturing of proprietary heterogeneous integration technology. They are seeking a Senior RF Characterization Engineer to develop RF test and characterization capabilities, validate RF device technologies, and support statistical studies of measurement data. The role involves collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams to document results and drive improvements in device performance and reliability.

Responsibilities
Validating RF device technologies at the transistor level and supporting modeling
Developing test methodologies for PseudolithIC RFICs including reliability characterization
Support statistical studies of measurement data and flow-back results to the manufacturing or engineering teams
Managing a variety of RF characterization procedures and producing clear documentation of the outputs
Support the development of PseudolithIC products to monitor and characterize device performance, circuit measurements, and package reliability
Documenting results and driving improvements in the manufacturing and RFIC design
Responsible for weekly reporting
Qualification
Required
Advanced degree in electrical engineering (MSEE or PhD), materials science, or related field
5+ years of experience in RF/microwave test and characterization of compound semiconductors and/or silicon integrated circuits. Frequency ranges between 1 and 100 GHz are part of test portfolio
Understanding of semiconductor physics in devices and failure mechanisms that impact yield and reliability at the device, die, and packaging level
Demonstrated experience to test and characterize large-signal behavior of devices through tools such as RF load and/or source pull
Development of RF models for transistor from small or large-signal measurement
Uncertainty analysis of RF and millimeter-wave characterization and knowledge of test equipment operation
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experience with statistical analysis methods for yield, failure, and reliability reporting
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee
