Postdoctoral Researcher
Los Alamos National Laboratory is a multidisciplinary research institution engaged in strategic science on behalf of national security. They are seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher to join their MST-8 Materials Science and Technology group, focusing on materials modeling, particularly meso-scale modeling of plasticity and damage in heterogeneous crystalline metals. The successful candidate will lead the development of a phase field-based model to predict metals corrosion in molten salt reactor environments.

Ability to effectively program using common languages like C++, Python, Fortran
Ability to adapt to new requirements for projects and be flexible enough to learn new tools as needed by the research
