The role involves conducting general diagnostic radiological imaging studies under the direction of a physician, including patient positioning and operation of radiology equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct general diagnostic radiological imaging studies of patients, within scope of demonstrated competency under the direction of a qualified physician

Positioning of patient for demonstration of correct anatomy/pathology

Operation of radiation producing equipment

Operation of the electronic Radiology systems

Preparation of patient room/equipment/medications

Phlebotomy competency for lab may be required for certain sites that do both Radiology and Lab

Qualification

Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT, must be registered within 90 days of hire
