Responsibilities
Define system and application architecture strategies
Design and implement microservices, API gateways, and cloud-native solutions
Develop technical roadmaps for system modernization efforts
Work closely with development teams to ensure scalability and performance
Lead architecture reviews and compliance assessments
Document system designs, workflows, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Project Management, Cybersecurity, or related field
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in systems engineering, highly proficient in core technologies and the latest systems engineering frameworks
Proven ability to design and implement efficient, user-centric systems and collaborate effectively within an agile environment
Extensive experience working on Agile teams and leveraging the latest architectural tools, techniques, and methods to design and deploy efficient user-facing systems
Skilled in integrating complex system components, optimizing performance, and ensuring scalability and reliability
Proficient in requirements analysis, system architecture design, and validation processes to meet user and business needs
Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions within agile and lean environments
Expertise in AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and serverless computing
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, FISMA, OWASP)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident required
