ADL Ventures is seeking a sharp, self-starter Senior Associate / Engagement Manager to lead delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder projects. The role involves owning key workstreams related to construction cost estimating, design development, and federal procurement documentation while coordinating with various internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

Own the delivery of key workstreams across construction cost estimating, integrated master scheduling, design development, and federal procurement documentation
Translate technical documents into structured outputs — including estimate tables, schematic design criteria, and client-ready project schedules
Coordinate across internal teams, design/engineering partners, and government stakeholders
Support the development of prefabrication-ready standards, performance frameworks, and repeatable design guides
Participate in charrettes, workshops, and design review sessions to move deliverables from draft to decision
Identify issues early, propose solutions, and keep momentum on track

Required

Degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline
3+ years of experience in field construction, preconstruction, or estimating — ideally in a general contractor or AEC environment
Strong understanding of design-build workflows and lean construction considerations
Excellent communicator with strong writing and synthesis skills
Comfortable working independently, owning timelines, and adapting in a fast-changing environment
A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action

Preferred

Industrialized construction experience is a strong plus, but not required
Military experience or experience working with federal clients is a strong plus
