Responsibilities
Create appropriate quality plans, define test strategies, and drive test execution processes
Execute functional, regression, performance, and accessibility testing
Develop and maintain testing strategies, including manual and automation testing
Develop scripts and automated test cases, increasing efficiency
Gather and report relevant and actionable quality metrics
Participate in design and specification reviews, as well as use this information to design test plans
Promote QA productivity through automation, tools, and other best practices
Ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results
Advise project management and development teams on technical issues related to planning, developing, implementing, and modifying testing procedures
Qualification
Required
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered, or Programmer/Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer related occupation
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field followed by five progressively responsible years of experience in the job offered, or Programmer/Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Test Developer related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience
Must have 1 year of experience in the following skill(s):
Collaborating with development teams, product managers and technical managers on day-to-day basis to deliver complex features to customers with high quality
Testing large-scale software systems, including test planning, test design, test strategy, and test execution
Developing test plans and test cases independently for largescale software systems using Java or Shell Scripts in a Windows, UNIX, or Linux environment
Coding/scripting experience using languages such as Java or C#
Web and mobile application user interface automation testing tools such as Selenium/Appium to automate test cases
Test case documentation tools such as Testrail and defect tracking tools such as JIRA
Versioning tools: GIT, SVN
