In this role, you will perform comprehensive echocardiographic exams and assist in specialized cardiac procedures to help diagnose cardiovascular conditions accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform adult cardiac ultrasound studies based on physician orders using advanced echocardiography equipment

Identify and document cardiac anatomy and pathology clearly and accurately

Assist physicians during complex procedures including: Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), Echo-guided trans-catheter procedures, Pericardiocentesis, Echo-guided myocardial biopsies, Contrast-enhanced exams, Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing

Modify imaging techniques based on patient needs and diagnostic requirements

Follow ASE and institutional standards for image acquisition, reporting, and documentation

Participate in shared call rotation including weekends, evenings, and coverage across Portland-area facilities

Ensure proper equipment maintenance and participate in quality assurance processes

Maintain BLS certification and keep all required licensure up to date
