Start in 2026 SummerGateway Engineers is offering a Freshman Internship designed to provide practical industry training and real-project exposure through experiential learning. Interns will participate in developmental training sessions and gain experience by working on real project teams to understand Gateway’s practice areas.

Required
Internship candidates must have successfully completed their freshman year of university/college studies and are returning to school for their sophomore year to qualify for this internship
Possess and provide self-transportation to/from Gateway office and required local project sites
Demonstrate the desire to grow personally and professionally
Demonstrable strong and confident communication skills
A commitment to lifelong learning and improvement
Be coachable
Exhibit organization skills
The ability to efficiently manage his/her time
Critical thinking
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
