AV Engineer
CACI International Inc is seeking an experienced Audio Video (A/V) Engineer to join their technical team in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves designing and developing audio/video distribution systems and ensuring compatibility with existing hardware and software standards.

Responsibilities
Defines requirements, designs and develops new audio/video distribution systems
Assesses current architectures for HW/SW limitations and designs complex computer system specifications supporting A/V system compatibility specifically for Crestron, Extron, Barco, Jupiter, Biamp etc
Identifies telecommunications, audio, video system hardware and software technical performance requirements/standards for current and proposed systems
Analyzes and resolves compatibility design deficiencies
Performs design and integration activities for A/V systems
Conducts independent technical investigations of A/V solutions
Leads others but no supervisory responsibilities
Experience in training staff in system repairs, operations, procedures and troubleshooting
Coordinate the procurement of electrical components from commercial and DOD vendors to meet requirements
Collaborates with engineering staff
Qualification
Required
Active Secret clearance is required with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
BS/MS in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or equivalent experience (greater experience in lieu of a degree is accepted)
3-5 years of A/V system design and implementation experience
Preferred
Certified Crestron Programmer
MS in computer science, computer engineering or information systems
10 Years A/V system design and implementation experience
Military communications experience in a tactical environment
Active TS/SCI
