The role involves guiding veterans and their families through the intake and eligibility process, ensuring they feel supported as they access necessary services and resources.

Responsibilities
Conduct screenings and assessments to determine program eligibility and assist veterans with enrollment
Complete intake packets, enter information into program databases, and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
Conduct individual or group orientations so veterans understand program guidelines and available services
Enter and maintain client data in systems such as MyCaseRecords (MCR) and the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
Work with case managers, housing/outreach specialists, and program coordinators to track services and outcomes
Help compile information for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Assist with aftercare follow-up, maintain archived files, and support the team with program supplies and special projects
Track Temporary Financial Assistance for clients in SSVF or GPD Transitional Housing programs
Qualification
Required
At least 1 year of experience in social services or a related field
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in social services or a related field
Experience working with veterans or the homeless populations
Strong communication, organizational, and data-entry skills
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license with clean driving record (must meet company insurance requirements and complete driver training)
