Strategic Sales Executive
GlacierGrid is a rapidly scaling technology startup focused on revolutionizing energy and temperature monitoring for the restaurant, convenience store, and hospitality industries. The Strategic Sales Executive will be responsible for prospecting and closing deals with mid-market and enterprise customers, driving growth and sustainability initiatives while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
Strategically prospect and close mid-market and enterprise customers in the restaurant (QSR, casual dining), convenience store, and hospitality sectors
Generate leads through strategic prospecting, cold calling, emailing, and social outreach
Prospect into, qualify, and close a high volume of deals with mid-market accounts
Understand potential customers’ business needs and effectively articulate our solution
Execute all aspects of the sales cycle, from first call to close, with support from inbound marketing leads and our SDR team
Navigate customer organizations to identify key decision-makers related to each opportunity
Consistently exceed monthly goals, pipeline metrics, and other KPIs
Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums
Become a power user of the GlacierGrid platform
Track all opportunities, forecasting, and account activity in HubSpot
Qualification
Required
Strategically prospect and close mid-market and enterprise customers in the restaurant (QSR, casual dining), convenience store, and hospitality sectors

Preferred
Previous sales experience or familiarity with restaurant technology, food service, quick-service restaurants (QSR), casual dining, convenience stores, or hospitality markets
Understanding of operational challenges specific to multi-location restaurant and convenience store brands, particularly related to energy management, IoT, and sustainability solutions
Strong motivation to grow professionally and contribute to solving climate and sustainability challenges
Possess a 4-year degree or equivalent sales experience
Have experience in a sales or sales support role; experience selling a technology/SaaS product is a bonus
Demonstrate a commitment to making an impact on the climate crisis
Have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Possess a high degree of professional resilience
Must be coachable and willing to receive and implement feedback
Have experience working with a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and forecasting
Possess a competitive drive and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
Must be driven to work at companies that have a meaningful impact on stanching CO2e emissions
