Design and Construction Activities
Project Delivery Methods - Traditional Design-Bid-Build and Alternative Conceptual-Bid- Build
Facility Types – Water treatment, power generation buildings, and substations
Systems – HVAC and plumbing
Type of Areas – Wastewater treatment buildings, administrative, warehouse, maintenance, workshop, laboratory, chemical storage and handling, electrical distribution center, low and medium voltage switchgear, and pump areas
Studies
Energy Audit/Efficiency - Engineering studies, system performance reviews, and energy compliance calculations
Code Review/Application - Facility review for code compliance
Sustainable Design/LEED - Application of sustainable strategies
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years related work experience
Self-motivated, problem solving skills, written communication skills, driven for results, quality focused, strong listening skills
Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and design guides and standards related to HVAC and plumbing system design
Basic knowledge of the following: International Codes Council (ICC) Suite of Codes, ASHRAE Handbooks / Standards, ASPE design handbooks, SMACNA Standards, NFPA standards, Computer generated HVAC Heatloads, energy modeling, and HVAC equipment sizing, Technical Submittal reviewing process and Bid reviewing process, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam Revu, Revit 3D Modeling
Bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in home country or the country practicing in

Experience with large-scale water-cooled chillers
