Planning and supervising field exploration and laboratory testing programs
Conducting geotechnical engineering analyses
Developing recommendations
Writing reports
Consulting with clients

Qualification

Louisiana P.E. license’s in Geotechnical EngineeringGeotechnical engineering analysesProject managementLocal subsurface conditionsConstruction practicesConsulting with clientsWritten communicationVerbal communication

Required

Louisiana P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one)
Master's degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in project management

Preferred

Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions
Experience in design and construction practices in the area
Specific experience pertaining to geotechnical analyses in regard to local governing agencies' requirements including LA DOTD, CPRA, etc
