Responsibilities
Join our community-based practice of Cardiologist, Interventional Cardiologist, Cardiology Fellows, a Vascular Surgeon, and APPs
Offer VATS and services to treat cardiovascular surgery conditions: leg pain, swelling and claudication, carotid bruits on exam, abnormal chest x-rays and CT scans, and abnormal cardiac cath
Participate in call rotation (1:4)
Utilize EPIC EMR for patient management
Perform surgical procedures in two vascular/thoracic operating rooms
Qualification
Required
Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine
License/Certification: DEA, NC Medical License or eligible to obtain, BE/BC, BLS/ACLS
Experienced thoracic surgeons and fellows are encouraged to apply
Expertise in lung cases, leg cases, amputation, access ports
