Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Industries Order Management solutions within Communications Cloud
Design and oversee implementation of order capture, product decomposition, orchestration, and fulfillment flows using Industries OM capabilities
Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical design with business and operational goals
Define and enforce best practices for product modeling, order lifecycle management, and guided selling experiences
Architect scalable integrations between Salesforce Industries OM and external systems such as BSS/OSS, inventory, billing, and provisioning platforms
Provide oversight on OmniStudio development (OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, FlexCards) for order capture and customer journeys
Drive governance across development teams including design reviews, performance tuning, and code quality standards
Support program-level planning, estimation, and roadmap development for order management workstreams
Stay current on Salesforce Industries product roadmap and provide recommendations on how to leverage new features effectively
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
7+ years of experience in Salesforce development/architecture roles, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries Order Management (Vlocity OM)
Strong expertise in Communications Cloud, Vlocity Product Catalog (EPC), pricing, rules engine, and decomposition
Proven experience designing complex order orchestration flows and fulfillment integrations
Deep knowledge of OmniStudio framework (OmniScripts, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures, and FlexCards)
Experience working with API integrations and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) in telecom or subscription-based services
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tooling
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Salesforce Industries and OmniStudio certifications highly desirable
