Responsibilities
Oversee project and program teams, ensuring outcomes align with scope, schedule, and budget
Drive the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects and programs
Identify, track, and manage key milestones and critical paths for successful delivery
Collaborate with stakeholders to define resource needs and assemble cross-functional teams, including external vendors when necessary
Negotiate and influence resourcing across departments, ensuring adequate support throughout the project lifecycle
Anticipate risks, dependencies, and constraints, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure success
Enforce change control processes to maintain alignment with project goals and constraints
Regularly report on progress, risks, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership
Qualification
Required
16+ experience in project and program management, including leadership of cross-functional teams
Proven expertise in verbal and written communication (technical and business contexts)
Proven expertise in presentation and facilitation skills (in-person and virtual)
Proven expertise in team building, conflict resolution, and strategic thinking
Proven expertise in managing under stress, ambiguity, or high-pressure situations
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies and adaptability to various project management approaches
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects of varying complexity
Demonstrated ability to oversee large, multi-division programs involving external vendor coordination
Demonstrated ability to collaborate confidently with senior leadership and key decision-makers
Exceptional analytical, reasoning, and research skills with a big picture mindset and attention to detail
Preferred
Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Agile)
Experience in technology-driven industries or environments
