Responsibilities
Function as the IT subject matter expert for website creation and design
Provide an IT development and user support role for website development
Ensure quality development and operation of assigned tasks
Ensuring responsive design that adapts seamlessly to various screen sizes
Testing the website before deployment and debugging the website code
Maintaining the website and supporting the organization/client on website updates
Collaborating with designers to understand and execute their vision
Connecting the database and maintaining integrations
Analyzes customers information needs, business problems and business opportunities and assist in determining the most efficient and effective systems/programming solutions
Qualification
Required
Extensive knowledge of web development and implementation of websites specifically with experience using Word Press and Drupal
Develop and implement websites, web applications, application databases, and interactive web interfaces
Evaluate code to ensure that it is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with multiple browsers and devices
Optimization of website performance, scalability, and server-side code and processes
Develop website infrastructure and integrate websites with other in-house or vendor applications
Create responsive site designs that enhance the user experience

Understand UI and UX, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards
Create solutions for identified problems or bugs
Communicate with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily
Execute assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as WordPress, Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
Develop and validate test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface
Plan and deliver software platforms and products across multiple organizational units
Design assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc
Evaluate written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices using Standard and Mobile device design
Knowledge of ADA web accessibility compliance and WCAG 2.1 standards
Maintain a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups
Preferred
Extensive knowledge of Google Analytics usage and website reporting
Knowledge of API hooks with other platforms (ex. Workday, social media platforms, etc.)
Knowledge of ESRI or mapping software
Experience with Adobe creative cloud products
