Responsibilities

Develop and implement standard software solutions with minimal guidance

Write high-quality, secure code in at least one programming language (e.g., C#) while adhering to best practices

Design, develop, and troubleshoot software components, considering both upstream and downstream system impacts

Apply tools from the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance automation and increase value

Utilize technical troubleshooting to break down problems and resolve complex technical issues

Analyze large, diverse data sets to identify problems and contribute to decision-making to ensure secure and stable application development

Continuously learn and apply methodologies for secure, stable, and efficient code development

Required

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 3+ years of applied experience

Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability

Practical experience in coding, debugging, and maintaining software in large-scale corporate environments, using modern programming languages and database querying languages

Proficiency in C# and Java

Experience working with React for front-end development

Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle

Experience throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Exposure to agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices

Emerging knowledge of modern software applications and technologies (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile)
