Padmore Global Connections is seeking an Application Developer to support the configuration of a Commercial Off-The-Shelf Software application. The role involves requirement gathering, application configuration, user access setup, and providing production support for the FASTDS-VS® application.

Required

Candidates must possess a bachelors degree. Prefer the degree be in the following fields but not required: Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Mathematics
2 years experience with a SQL database
2 years experience with OO development (.Net, Java, C#, VB)
Strong analytical and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Working knowledge of software development methodologies, standards, coding best practices
Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn
Candidate MUST be local to Metro Atlanta

DOR will conduct a background check on all candidates considered for the position
Individuals must be compliant with Georgia tax obligations
Individuals having any overdue and unpaid taxes, or any felony convictions (no matter how long ago) will not be offered the position or hired
All employees will be fingerprinted
Tax Clearance Letter, due at the time of submission

Preferred

Experience with web services
Familiarity with APIs
Experience with AWS
Knowledge of SQL Stored procedures
