Responsibilities

Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring every deduction and credit is accounted for
Conduct thorough financial analyses to uncover tax savings and minimize liabilities
Use accounting software like QuickBooks and Sage to manage client records and produce accurate returns
Provide guidance to clients on tax laws and regulations
Keep up with the latest tax laws and industry changes
Work alongside other talented professionals to deliver excellent service and support to our clients
Analyze financial data to identify patterns and potential issues
Develop and maintain strong client connections
Contribute to business growth through financial sales and client engagement

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in tax preparation, corporate accounting, or financial sales
Strong understanding of tax laws, regulations, and compliance
Skilled in accounting tools like QuickBooks, Sage, and Excel
Solid 10-key typing ability and overall tech-savviness
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Comfortable engaging in sales conversations and marketing efforts
Able to explain complex financial information in simple, understandable terms
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Capable of working independently and collaborating with the team
Familiarity with key financial concepts and terminology
Active CTEC certification or EA license required, along with a valid PTIN and CTEC registration

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
