Senior Firmware Engineer
Syght is a company specializing in revolutionary millimeter wave security systems, and they are seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop firmware for PCB assemblies. The role involves creating complex algorithms, debugging firmware issues, and supporting all phases of the product development life cycle.

Responsibilities
Participate in design of electronics, and implement control firmware based on Architecture Specifications
Implementing and refining complex algorithms
Analyzing and providing input to requirements
Identifying technical solutions and components which meet objectives and deliver required functionality
Isolating, debugging, and resolving complex FW issues
Producing detailed design documentation
Hardware unit and integration testing
Support regulatory qualification, commercialization, and transfer to manufacturing
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, related field OR equivalent years of experience
Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
Quick to assimilate new concepts
Experience in Embedded firmware development and tools environment; STM lines of Arm-based MCUs
Experience with writing drivers for interfaces such as SPI, RS-232, CAN, Modbus
Understanding of Logic Analyzers, scopes and JTAG debuggers
Basic knowledge of ARM assembly
Encoders, controllers, and signal processing applications
Wireless power and communication
Logic Analyzers and scopes
Strong debugging, C and Python skills
Preferred
Nvidia Nano and/or Nvidia Jetson
Arm M4/M7 experience
Linux
ML concepts and basics of TensorFlow, CUDA, and other ML tool chains
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Individual who consistently delivers high quality results with minimal supervision
Provide technical guidance management as needed
