The Licensing Renewal Coordinator is responsible for maintaining compliance with licensing renewal and reinstatement processes, reviewing applications, and managing communications with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Accept and review license renewal and reinstatement applications
Make determinations as to a candidate's eligibility for renewal of a license
Work with the IDOi Enforcement Division and other state departments of Insurance in verifying possible disqualifications
Utilize various databases when reviewing renewal applications
Process license reinstatement waiver forms needed for producers to take the IDOi Laws & Regulations exam
Advise candidates on the reinstatement process and requirements
Track a candidate's reinstatement progress
Maintain the IDOi licensing renewal and reinstatement web pages
Work with system vendors in troubleshooting system errors and addressing concerns
Implement system or process improvements
Manage all communications with internal and external stakeholders regarding licensing renewal/reinstatement questions
Coordinate with the Education Coordinator regarding continuing education forms
Qualification
Required
Experience in licensing renewal and reinstatement processes for insurance producers and agencies
Knowledge of state compliance laws, rules, policies, and procedures related to insurance licensing
Ability to review and assess civil, criminal, or administrative background documents
Experience working with databases such as MyCase.in.gov, NIPR Attachments Warehouse, I-Site, Sircon for States, e-PAL, INBiz, and FINRA BrokerCheck
Strong communication skills for managing internal and external stakeholder communications
Ability to troubleshoot system errors and implement process improvements
Experience in advising candidates on reinstatement processes and requirements
Ability to maintain web pages and online resources related to licensing renewal and reinstatement
Experience coordinating with education coordinators regarding continuing education forms
