They are seeking an experienced LPN/OR Tech who will observe and practice sterile techniques, assist surgeons, and actively participate in patient care and safety within the Operating Room team.

Responsibilities

Under general direction, observes and practices sterile technique, maintains asepsis, anticipates and assists the surgeon as needed

Actively participates in patient care and safety

Utilizes OR supplies conservatively and operates as a team member of the OR staff

Qualification

Practical Nurse LicenseCPR CertificationOperating Room experienceClinical experienceSterile techniquePatient careTeam collaboration

Required

Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing

Current New York State Practical Nurse License

CPR Certification required within 3 months of hire

Preferred

Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting

Previous Operating Room experience
