Walmart Canada is seeking a Vice President of Merchandising Operations for Apparel. This role is responsible for overseeing various aspects of merchandising category development, replenishment, and planning, while driving key strategic initiatives to enhance the store and online shopping experience.

Responsibilities
Oversees and drives the development of replenishment and supply chain innovations across strategic business units SBUs
Develops and drives the inventory and operations strategies across multiple strategic business units SBUs
Oversees multiple complex merchandise planning teams in planning developing and executing the divisional and portfolio financial plans and strategies
Partners with senior leadership and executives to develop align and implement the divisions financial strategy by modeling analyzing and evaluating the impact of key variables for example seasonal events assortment mix market dynamics on divisional performance and risk exposure
Oversees the common vision and pricing strategy for assigned strategic business units
Ensures the implementation of effective pricing strategies by providing guidance on interactions with different areas of the company for example marketing merchandising evaluating pricing gaps by competitor and department evaluating the impact of inflation and deflation on items participating in the negotiation of customer savings initiatives with suppliers evaluating justification for increase and decrease of cost components for consistency and validity and reviewing joint business plans
Partners with other Senior Leaders to ensure Merchandising Operations strategy is in alignment with other business unit strategies e.g. Operations Marketing Finance
Collaborates Merchandising and eCommerce Merchandising Operations teams to efficiently and effectively achieve Omni departmental Merchandising objectives
Oversees a high performance organization that places the Customer at the center of all Merchandising Operations decisions by providing clarity of vision strategic thought leadership setting high expectations when delivering results identifying emerging trends to ensure Walmart has the right site experience to address trends aligned to the business model and customer expectations inspiring commitment and creating an environment that fosters leadership development throughout the organization
Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships to ensure business goals are met
Ensures strategic planful and tactical partnerships with Merchandising function
Works cross functionally with Finance Supply Chain and Marketing to drive results and customer satisfaction
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
10 years' leadership experience in retail, operations, or related field
Preferred
Experience in Apparel Merchandising Operations
Leadership experience in retail, Operations, or related field
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
