Manager, Modules Process Development

Responsibilities
Guide assembly process development and transition of Nokia's Photonic Integrated Circuits (PIC) Module Products to manufacturing
Manage and scale a high-performing engineering team specializing in mechanical engineering and material science for optical engine assembly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and execute process design methodologies
Facilitate interactions with internal and external partners on design, qualification, and project execution efforts
Resolve complex technical demands on one's own and drive innovative solutions, using data-driven methodologies
Develop, monitor, and optimize project budgets, schedules, and risk profiles to ensure timely delivery of objectives
Provide strategic inputs for product roadmaps and manage project milestones
Mentor team members, foster a collaborative environment, and evaluate candidates to build a strong team
Qualification
Required
MS in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, opto electronics, or microelectronics
Proven experience managing diverse teams of strong separate contributors
Hands-on experience with opto electronic or microelectronic assembly processes and equipment
Strong engineering and project management skills, including budget and risk management
Preferred
Experience in design methodologies and platform development for optical engines
Knowledge of Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to executive leadership
Ability to build cost models and perform competitive analyses
