Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
BioLife Solutions is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of cell and gene therapy bioproduction tools and services. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will be responsible for organizing, analyzing, and reporting financial and non-financial information, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.

Responsibilities
Defines and maintains financial and operating metrics to be reported daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, and/or in real time
Develops and maintains a running 3-year forecast for the income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows
Performs variance and trend analysis, including budget versus actual and prior period variance comparatives
Constructs and maintains capital allocation analysis models, and new product development financial analysis
Prepares annual budget materials
Contributes to acquisition, cash flow modeling, due diligence and data room management
Supports preparation of the financial components of quarterly board meeting materials
Supports annual shareholder meeting and proxy filing
Supports finance and accounting team with special projects, including new software implementation and process improvements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor or Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance, accounting, or comparable roles
Solid understanding of Accounting/GAAP
Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, while maintaining a high level of organization
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members across the business
Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
Willingness to work long hours, when necessary
Ability to work well with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Preferred
Advanced Degree or CPA
Experience with the following software and concepts: NetSuite and business intelligence tools
Experience with mergers and acquisitions
