Assistant City Engineer
The City of Watertown is seeking an Assistant City Engineer to join their Engineering Department. This senior-level position involves overseeing the City’s Engineering staff and managing design and construction for utility infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
Oversight of the City’s Engineering staff, including design and construction for all City utility infrastructure projects
Supervision is exercised over subordinate engineering department personnel
Qualification
Required
Graduation from a regionally accredited college or university or one accredited by the NYS Board of Regents to grant degrees with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field
4 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
Must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver's License
Must possess or achieve NYS Professional Engineering license within 24 months of employment
Must maintain PE license for permanent appointment and continued employment
