Responsibilities
Processes and distributes CyberTips received from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC)
Obtains necessary administrative subpoenas and court orders
Conducts IP address searches
Makes referrals and transmits information to law enforcement agencies
Analyzes child sexual exploitation material
Completes Child Incident Data (CID) reports
Assists detectives in a support role with investigations
Conducts online searches and public database checks
Conducts telephone interviews with individuals who report information
Participates in outreach activities related to the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC)
Assists with sub-recipient monitoring and equipment inventory
Provides progress reports
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited college or university
Preferred
Knowledge of cyber investigations and online research techniques
Ability to conduct public records and database searches
Skill in preparing reports and maintaining detailed records
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to conduct interviews and communicate effectively with law enforcement and the public
Attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive and confidential material
Proficiency with internet research and investigative tools
Ability to perform IP address searches and online investigative research
Familiarity with computer systems and data analysis tools
