JANUS Research Group is seeking a Senior Citrix Administrator to support the IT Services and Support requirements for the U.S. Army. The role involves managing, maintaining, deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting servers in a mixed Windows environment while ensuring system performance and security.

Responsibilities

Support the IT Services and Support (ITSS) requirements for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS) requirement

Supporting the ALTESS Windows team

Manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot and support servers for a mixed customer environment

Plan, execute and implement new system HW and SW

Create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed

Monitoring and tuning system performance

Ongoing operation of the servers

Hardening of the servers

Reporting of the overall security and operational status

Recommend improvements to the enterprise

Manage new SW/HW integrations when required

Provide utilization reports using existing tools to identify problems and corrective actions as needed

Provide support towards the lifecycle of a mixed environment of vendor equipment in the datacenter

Recommend, demonstrate, and implement technologies to help expand, upgrade, and increase efficiencies to the current environment

Required

CompTIA Security+

Computing Environment (CE) Certification (i.e., MCSE, Server+, CCNA, RedHat, Palo, etc.) or ability to obtain

Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Experience in Computer Science or IT

Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer designing, installing, and maintaining Citrix Xenapp, NetScaler Gateway, Citrix Storefront, and Citrix Director

Three more years' experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing powershell

Three or more years' installing, configuration, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites IIS, Apache, etc

Three or more years' experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions with senior level fundamental knowledge in networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP)

Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience

Three or more years' experience supporting Cybersecurity patch management and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), SRG, RMF, SCAV, and Cyber Operational Readiness Assessments (CORA)

Three or more years' experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures

Three or more years' experience creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy implementations

Three or more years' experience creating, maintaining, following Standard Operating Procedures for repeatable processes, disaster recovery, and common problem resolution

Three or more years' experience configuring and maintaining key services such as DNS, SFTP, SMTP, and NTP
