Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in various areas of Marketing [Mode of instruction may include in-person, hybrid, online, and/or any combination thereof.]
Engage in research, scholarly and creative activities leading to publications and presentations in Marketing and related fields
Participate in curriculum and program development and keep content current in various areas of Marketing
Participate in service to the school, college, university, and profession/community

Required

Ph.D. or DBA in Marketing or a closely related field. Degree at time of application or official notification of completion of the doctoral degree from AACSB accredited or equivalent schools by August 1, 2026
Demonstrated potential for effectiveness and excellence in teaching marketing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Demonstrated potential for research, scholarly and creative activities in consumer behavior and its marketing applications leading to publications
Demonstrated commitment to working successfully with a diverse student population, including low socioeconomic and first-generation students
A Student Success Statement about your teaching or other experiences, successes, and challenges in working with a diverse student population (maximum two pages, single-spaced)
Letter of application addressing the required and preferred qualifications
CV
Names and contact information of three references (to be contacted for confidential letters of recommendation should you reach the finalist stage)
Copy of transcript from institution awarding highest degree
Evidence of research productivity in the field (e.g. publications, conference presentations, manuscripts under review, R&R - maximum 2 documents) if applicable
Evidence of teaching effectiveness (e.g., student teaching evaluation summaries), if applicable
Job market paper (will be requested should you reach the finalist stage)
Finalists should be prepared to submit an official transcript (e-transcript preferred, if available)

Preferred

Peer-reviewed articles published or under review in high-quality academic journals in consumer behavior or closely related fields
Evidence of effective teaching experience in Marketing or a closely related field at undergraduate and/or graduate level
Demonstrated commitment to service contributions to the department/college/university, and community
Experience mentoring or supporting students with minoritized identities or experience using inclusive and culturally relevant teaching strategies in a diverse classroom
