Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership/supervision in direct support to USG operations for communications and geolocation systems
Plan, coordinate, collaborate and assist in controlling the progress of project work in these technical areas to meet client objectives
Assist in creative, innovative solutions to support operations issues and modernizations through the application of advanced theory, algorithms, concepts, and practices in communications intelligence
Provide expertise in System Engineering and support for program development in emerging technology which can be applied to Collection and Operations
Work on developing new areas of work with the Operations areas concerned with system/network performance
Leadership/Technical Supervision of system development for the processing and operations of RF and/or Geolocation systems
Work with U.S. Government to help gather information on the use, requirements, and modernization of operational collection systems
Plan, coordinate, and assist in controlling the progress of project work in various technical areas, in order to meet client objectives
Prepare and present research and test readiness reports to clients
Coordinate and prepare technical demonstrations to clients, working directly with the operators and acquisition offices
Support testing of patches and new baselines for operational systems
Attend technical and vendor symposiums and conferences with the local area
Qualification
Required
Requires a Bachelors, Masters or a PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
Must have a current/active TS/SCI with active polygraph
8-10 years: Knowledge of RF and geolocation theory and operational techniques
8-10 years: Highly proficient at writing requirements, design documents, and test plans associated with the requirements. Assisting in the decomposition of the requirements to developers and developing use cases for testing. Reviewing materials and providing valuable input
8-10 years: Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate at the level of non-technical and technical customers and teammates
8-10 years: Highly proficient in requirements databases, project tracking tools such as Atlassian products, highly proficient in Microsoft products
A valid/clear driver's license is required
Work assignment is in Maryland
Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen
