They are seeking a Plumbing Engineer / Designer to provide foundational experience in design standards and technical coordination, focusing on plumbing systems for various facilities.

Responsibilities
Assist in performing field surveys, prepare engineering calculations, size piping distribution systems, select plumbing fixtures, perform drafting and electronic drawing preparation, and conduct code and energy studies
Use AutoCAD and REVIT, become familiar with computerized calculation and energy software, and become competent with MS-Excel, MS-Word, and Blue Beam
Under the direction of senior engineering staff, leverage plumbing codes, CAD software, and engineering principles to adapt plans for budget, design factors, and client needs throughout the project life cycle
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in all phases of project development, including drafting, calculations, and preparation of construction documentation under the direction of senior engineering staff
Qualification
Required
2-4 years of relevant experience, inclusive of relevant co-op or internship experience
Competence in AutoCAD and REVIT, and Blue Beam software
Proficiency with MS Office
A knack for and interest in solving complex engineering problems
Team orientation and collaboration skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Interpersonal skills, needed for coordination with team members and clients
Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
Attention to detail
Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Mathematical skills
Preferred
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution preferred
Experience with Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Life Science, and Laboratory industries
