Responsibilities
Leads a team in the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications
Prepares engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports
Evaluates land use and zoning requirements and is familiar with zoning ordinances and site plan approval processes
Prepares permit applications and is responsible for working through agency review processes and obtaining approvals
Makes occasional site visits during the construction phase of the work to assess progress and quality of construction
Works with dynamic design teams including the owner/developer, architects, landscape architects, engineering trades, and contractors
Provides mentorship and training for junior staff
Qualification
Required
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
Education: Bachelors (Required)
Experience: Civil engineering: 5 years (Required)
Language: English (Required)
Minimum 3 years of design experience on land development projects
Proficiency with Civil 3D and Office 360 products (Excel, Word, etc.)
Preferred
K-12 site design experience a plus (but not required)
