Business Development & E-commerce Manager
Vilgain is a European startup on a mission to make clean, honest food the new standard, now expanding into the U.S. market. The Business Development & E-commerce Manager will lead the U.S. launch, focusing on building B2B and B2C channels, overseeing e-commerce operations, and developing go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
Launch and scale Vilgain in the U.S. market, mainly online
Build and grow B2B (retail, wholesale) and B2C (DTC, e-commerce) channels
Growth & Performance Marketing
Localize brand and product strategy for U.S. expansion
Oversee e-commerce operations, platforms, and tools (Shopify)
Develop go-to-market strategies and scalable sales opportunities
Lead end-to-end product launches in new market
Be our go-to person for retail partners, trade fairs, and local ops
Collaborate closely with HQ (purchasing, CX, logistics, marketing)
Travel across the U.S. to meet partners and build presence at industry events
Qualification
Required
Has experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, and launching or scaling a product in food, wellness, or FMCG
Has strong skills in performance marketing
Has worked with both B2B and B2C models
Knows the U.S. food market — including competitors, retail landscape, and local specifics
Possesses strong negotiation, organizational, and multitasking skills
Can operate independently, take ownership of results, and think practically
Has an existing network of partners, distributors, or retailers
Brings energy, precision, and a solutions-oriented mindset, and has a genuine passion for clean food, wellness and healthy lifestyle
