Responsibilities

Perform design computations

Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools

Develop construction cost estimates

Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates

Attend meetings with clients

Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality

Required

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder

Bachelors degree in electrical engineering

5-10 years experience related to electrical power distribution, power generation, motor controls, lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm design, telecommunications network design, or security systems design

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

Working knowledge of Autodesks CADD and Autodesks Revit

Proficient in discipline specific design software

Written and communication skills

Understanding and application of NEC, IBC, and NFPA codes for completing electrical design work
