Responsibilities
Wash and properly sanitize all dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment
Ensure all items are cleaned, dried, and stored in their proper locations for efficient kitchen operation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area, including sinks, dish machine, and surrounding surfaces
Assist with receiving, unloading, and storing deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies
Remove trash and recyclables from kitchen areas and dispose of them according to club procedures
Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, floors, and walls as scheduled or directed
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
Support kitchen and front-of-house staff by restocking clean wares as needed
Monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or supply needs to the supervisor or chef
Assist with basic food prep or other kitchen tasks as requested during slower periods
Adhere to all health department regulations and club cleanliness standards
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude and contribute to the overall success of the culinary operation
Additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus
Prior experience in a kitchen, dishwashing, or porter role preferred but not required
Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, attention to quality and detail
Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Requires excellent oral and written communications skills
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience
Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License and meet the driver safety policy requirements
