KLM Careers is seeking a Building Design Structural Engineer for their client located in West Austin. The successful candidate will design buildings for commercial, municipal, and academic purposes using Revit, while ensuring project compliance and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Design buildings for commercial, municipal, and academic buildings using Revit

Visit construction sites to make sure work is progressing according to plan

Communicate project status to both internal and external groups

Interact with project owners to solicit feedback on design needs and provide excellent customer service

Attend meetings and support PE as needed

Required

Must be a structural engineer with minimum of 2 years of work experience in building design (commercial, multifamily, retail, residential, municipal, etc.)

Bachelors degree required, masters degree is a plus

Revit experience

Experience designing buildings (commercial, K-12, multifamily, etc.)

EIT or recent PE

Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
